About this role
Salesforce's Technical Support Engineering team keeps its CRM platform healthy for customers. This junior engineer watches dashboards and alerts around the clock, triages issues early and reaches out to affected customers before they feel the impact.
What you will do
- Monitor platform health dashboards, alerts and telemetry
- Triage alerts and escalate root causes to engineering teams
- Contact customers affected by identified issues
- Create and resolve support cases with clear documentation
- Work with Engineering, SRE and Cloud Operations
- Write troubleshooting docs and knowledge base articles
- Use scripting to reduce manual alert handling
- Spot recurring patterns in monitoring data
What the employer expects
- 6-24 months in technical support, IT operations or monitoring
- Understanding of cloud, SaaS and web technologies (HTTP, REST, DNS, SSL/TLS)
- Basic familiarity with monitoring and log analysis tools
- Hands-on Salesforce Administration experience
- Working knowledge of Apex, LWC and SOQL/SOSL
- Ability to read debug logs and system exceptions
- Flexibility for 24x7 shifts, some weekends and holidays
- Clear written and verbal communication
