About this role
Aera Technology makes a decision intelligence platform that automates business decisions with AI. The associate data scientist handles the modeling workflow from data exploration to reproducible pipelines. They also work with engineering to deploy models on the platform.
What you will do
- Turn business questions into modeling problems
- Run exploratory analysis on messy datasets
- Engineer features and benchmark modeling approaches
- Write clean Python code and notebooks
- Build testable, reproducible data and modeling pipelines
- Productionize models with engineering teams
- Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
What the employer expects
- Degree in a quantitative field
- 1-3 years in data science or ML engineering, or equivalent projects
- Strong Python with pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn
- Solid EDA and statistics
- Good SQL
- Version control, testing and documentation habits
