About this role
Hex builds a collaborative data workspace platform that combines code, natural language exploration, and visual UI. This infrastructure role owns multi-tenant cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, container isolation, and production database scaling.
What you will do
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for speed, cost, and developer flexibility
- Manage stack lifecycle and automation for single-tenant customer deployments
- Scale and tune multi-tenant PostgreSQL production databases
- Improve infrastructure spend visibility and reduction
- Enhance workload container security and compliance posture
What the employer expects
- 5+ years building and operating production infrastructure including on-call
- Strong Kubernetes operations experience including scheduling and networking
- Solid AWS fundamentals across EKS, RDS, VPC networking, and IAM
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Comfort writing and reading application code to modify pipelines or controllers
