About this role
Google Cloud provides enterprise infrastructure and tools to organisations worldwide. This engineer joins the Virtual Machine team within Google Distributed Cloud, helping build an early-stage product for large customers with strict regulatory needs.
What you will do
- Build features for deploying and operating Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) air-gapped
- Review design docs and code from other engineers and give feedback
- Work with partner teams to speed up platform delivery
- Collaborate with engineers, PMs and TPMs on a high-quality system
- Contribute to documentation and educational content
- Triage, debug and resolve product and system issues
- Use AI to carry out core responsibilities effectively
