About this role
InMobi is an ad-tech and commerce technology group. This engineer joins the demand-side platform team to build batch and streaming data pipelines that handle bid, impression and click events for campaign analytics and targeting.
What you will do
- Build and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines for ad events
- Create ingestion and transformation workflows with Python, SQL and Spark
- Add data quality checks, schema validation and monitoring
- Handle duplicate, delayed and failed events in streams
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and performance bottlenecks
- Work with analytical stores like StarRocks or ClickHouse
- Schedule pipelines with Airflow or similar orchestrators
- Join code reviews, testing and deployments
What the employer expects
- 2-5 years in software or data engineering
- Strong Python and good SQL
- Hands-on Spark/PySpark or a similar framework
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines in production
- Understanding of batch and streaming concepts
- Exposure to workflow tools like Airflow, Prefect or Dagster
- Familiarity with Kafka and a major cloud
- Ad-tech or real-time bidding exposure is a plus
