About this role
OLYV is a fintech platform focused on financial inclusion in India. This junior security analyst role monitors security events, triages alerts and escalates real incidents to the L2 team.
What you will do
- Monitor security events from multiple log sources in real time
- Triage alerts and escalate confirmed incidents to L2 with evidence
- Document incidents and responses in the SIEM
- Analyze phishing emails (headers, URLs, attachments)
- Investigate endpoint, email gateway and antivirus alerts
- Track vulnerability and patch status
- Help run security awareness training
- Follow SOPs, playbooks and shift handovers
What the employer expects
- 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Exposure to SIEM tools like QRadar, LogRhythm or Log360
- Exposure to EDR/XDR tools like CrowdStrike or SentinelOne
- Basic knowledge of a DLP solution
- Good written and verbal communication
- Willingness to work in shifts
- CompTIA Security+ or CEH is an advantage
