About this role
Veeva is a cloud software company serving life sciences. This engineer on the Vault Automation Platform team tests and automates checks for Vault's cloud infrastructure, including zero-downtime upgrades and disaster recovery.
What you will do
- Understand Vault infrastructure to test infra changes
- Set up and maintain infra test environments
- Build automation for upgrades, HA and DR features
- Improve the automation framework and test harness
- Run automation, verify bugs and triage results
- Report status and risks to onshore leads
What the employer expects
- 1+ years in test automation or SDET
- Java, JavaScript, Python or Bash
- API automation such as RestAssured
- Basic AWS knowledge (EC2, S3, EKS, IAM)
- Familiarity with monitoring or config tools like Prometheus, Ansible or Terraform
- In the Hyderabad office four days a week
- Agile/Scrum understanding
