About this role
Hyde builds specialist AI models and agents for high-stakes enterprise workflows using post-training, alignment and reinforcement learning. AI Builders lead applied AI work across forward-deployed engineering, product and research tracks, with the Research track focused on frontier post-training, agents and evaluation frameworks.
What you will do
- Work at the frontier of post-training research
- Train and fine-tune models
- Build agents and design evaluation frameworks
- Create RL environments for specific enterprise domains
- Publish research
- Feed breakthroughs back into Hyde's core platform
What the employer expects
- Experience working in applied ML, reinforcement learning, evals, product engineering and/or top-tier management consulting
- Strong foundation in ML basics (Evaluation, Training, Problem Decomposition)
- Ability to run technical discovery with senior stakeholders and communicate model behavior to non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in software engineering principles and languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript
