About this role
Trackmind is hiring a detail-oriented QA Engineer focused on manual and functional testing to ensure quality of its applications. The role covers test-case preparation, execution, defect tracking and collaboration in an Agile environment.
What you will do
- Analyze functional requirements and understand application workflows
- Prepare and maintain test scenarios, test cases and test data
- Perform manual and functional testing of web applications
- Execute Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration and System Testing
- Identify, document and track defects using JIRA or similar tools
- Perform defect retesting and regression testing
- Validate application functionality against requirements
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Support basic API testing and database validation
- Assist with UAT
What the employer expects
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing
- Good understanding of Functional Testing concepts and methodologies
- Experience in preparing and executing test cases and test scenarios
- Knowledge of Smoke, Sanity, Regression, Integration and System Testing
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Experience in defect reporting and tracking using JIRA or similar tools
