About this role
Windmill is an open-source developer platform that turns scripts into workflows, internal tools and apps. This engineer owns product work end to end, building the editors and the AI agent features inside the product.
What you will do
- Build and refine the script, flow, app and pipeline editors in Svelte/TypeScript
- Build AI features such as agent steps, evals and trace inspection
- Own work from spec and design through review and shipping
- Talk to users and decide what to ship
What the employer expects
- Strong product taste in developer tools
- Ability to review AI-written code deeply
- Baseline in distributed systems, Rust, PostgreSQL and Svelte
- Depth in one area such as DX, AI engineering or systems
- AI/LLM skills are highly valued
