About this role
The Sub-Same-Day team builds technology for Amazon's fastest delivery promises across India and emerging marketplaces. This SDE II role owns high-scale, low-latency systems that compute and optimize the fastest reliable delivery promise for every order.
What you will do
- Design, build and operate scalable low-latency highly available services for SSD delivery promises
- Own features end-to-end from requirements through operations
- Lead design discussions and drive alignment with partner teams
- Uphold operational excellence including monitoring, alarming and on-call
- Mentor SDE-1s and junior engineers
- Contribute to the team's technical roadmap
What the employer expects
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 1+ years designing and developing large-scale multi-tiered multi-threaded embedded or distributed applications using C#, C++, Java or Perl
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
